“How did they get into the winter realm!?”
“I-I’m sorry!! I tried to get them to turn back, but they were too strong!”
The Fauchereve clicked his tongue, staring at a mirror hanging in the air that he had just recently manifested. His eyes narrowed at the dead arcana being gently set back down onto the snow.
“Well, at least they got rid of that useless thing.” He noted, huffing just a little bit as he tried to see the positive of the situation. “I was wondering where he was hiding.”
World cringed very lightly at having the Hermit referred to as a ‘useless thing’, wringing his hands nervously as he watched the other observe the intruders. He dryly gulped, looking between the door and the distracted Master. Perhaps he could just-
“Don’t even think about it. You’re still in trouble, mister.”
Once more, he flinched at being called out. He stood up straighter, unable to help feel a small quiver as his Master turned toward him with that icy cold stare. He opened his mouth to try to defend himself, to say how it was four against one and he just had no chance, but he quickly closed it, knowing that he wouldn’t even accept that for an answer.
The Fauchereve continued to stare him down before he sighed, going over to him and setting both hands on his shoulders.
“There is not much damage right now, and it would seem this little slip up lead to a good thing. I suppose I should be a tad thankful, friend.”
World perked his head a little more, actually surprised that he was taking this fairly well. Perhaps Hermit’s death was a good thing after all to put him in a… could he even call this a good mood? Well, he did say friend…
“Th-Thank you, M—“
Before he could even finish his sentence, the Fauchereve swiftly reached a leg behind him and pushed his shoulders back, making World trip over his foot and fall over onto his back with a small thud. World choked out a cough, the sudden impact momentarily knocking the wind out of him. Before he could even attempt to sit up on his elbows, the Fauchereve walked over and pressed down a foot onto his chest, keeping him down on his back and making him exclaim out in pain.
“Ehehe~ Don’t think you’re off the hook, friend. Right now, because of that fucking pest they’re heading to the factory. And who is supposed to be the one protecting him?”
“M-Me??”
“That’s right. You. And-“
“B-But you had me leave my post to try to make them go back!”
The calm smile the Fauchereve had suddenly twisted into a frown, bearing his teeth as he lifted his foot from the other’s chest only to stomp down on it harder, this getting yet another outcry of pain from the Arcana.
“Don’t fucking interrupt me.”
Out of instinct, World grabbed onto the Fauchereve’s leg in trying to get it to ease up in the amount of pressure against his chest. He stared up at his master with shining eyes, now afraid to even speak out in fear that he would stomp him again if he possibly interrupted him again, but he grimaced as the others foot grinded down his chest further, seeming to have noticed him trying to remove it and instead just try to do the opposite.
The Fauchereve’s grin grew large at seeing his little servant suffer so, very lightly licking his lips at the sight of crystal droplets gathering at the edge of World’s eyes, some of them even managing to trickle down his face. What a crybaby. He loved seeing him like this.
“Now, friend. I am punishing you because you let me down. Someone was killed because of it, but lucky for you it was someone I had been meaning to kill for ages.” The Fauchereve stated, his grin becoming even more sickingly sweet as World once more stared up at him with those despairing blue eyes of his. He kept it that way for a few moments before he slowly withdrew his leg, letting World sit up and attempt to regain his breathing.
“I-I’m sorry. S-so sorry. I’m sorry. I’m—“
“Ssh ssh, friend.” He quietly hushed the arcana, kneeling down so he could press a cold pale finger against World’s trembling lips. “Not another word. Head back to your post in the factory. Defend my darling Santa at all costs. You hear me?”
“Y-Yes.”
“Yes….?”
World looked up to the other, once more having a shiver go up his spine at being so close to that crooked sweetly malicious smile and those soulless ice eyes of his. He blinked away his tears, gulping once more as he knew he had to say this properly.
“Yes, Master.”
“Good boy.” The Fauchereve giggled under his breath and stood up, World following suite after him. The Arcana brushed off his uniform before turning around to head out of there.
“Oh, and World.”
He was afraid of that.
Hesitantly, World turned around to look at his smiling master one more time. “Mm?”
“This is your last, last chance. Fail me, and I will not hesitate to use your intestines for Italy and I’s pasta dinner. Okay?~”
World’s eyes widened, subconsciously setting a hand on his stomach at the very disturbing imagery now being repeated in his head over and over. He gave a nod, unable to help another short burst of tears in eyes and overflowing down his cheeks.
“Y-Yes, Master!”
With that, he quickly got out of there, leaving for the factory as soon as he could.
The Fauchereve giggled loudly to himself once he was alone, quickly managing to shift into Germany’s form as he knew he should probably check up on Italy and perhaps play a game of tag. Before he left however, he turned back towards his mirror that was watching the outside nations going into the polluted ice caves.
He tilted his head for a moment before he waved his gloveless hand over the surface of the all-seeing mirror, turning its gaze towards the escaping World who was quietly sobbing to himself as he walked forward to exit this domain. He smiled to himself, unable to help but to lick his lips once more at just being able to imagine licking away those salty sweet tears.
Oh, how he love love loved those sad shiny crybaby blue eyes of his.

Luciano stared up at the ceiling, still huffing and panting a bit from the training he had done earlier with his German ally, Lutz. He overworked himself while running laps because he wanted to do better than the other - yet he failed. It was just another exhausting day for Luciano, knowing he was still the 'loser' of the running game.

He lay in bed, too sick to even move. To even think. He was sure his fever had skyrocketed through the roof by now and his stomach hadn’t ceased churning since he woke up. Still, he wished it had stopped her from continuing to try deepening the relationship both of them knew was no longer there. He wished he could’ve stopped her.

And ya get to see a side of the Fauchereve that he doesn't show his friends~
This takes place inbetween Chapter 5 and 7 uwu of what happened to World in the inbetween and a little showcase of what his life is kinda like serving the Fauchereve.
